One of the most enjoyable recent historic house visits that we've experienced thanks to all the interpreters who were so cordial and informative as they went about their farm tasks. We loved the collards we sampled and came away with freshly made corn shuck dolls.

We enjoyed our visit. The guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Kids enjoyed historic games, dressing up and seeing animals.

My husband and I came here for their pumpkin patch day. We had a great time exploring the farm, seeing the animals, and participating in cool activities like making mini swords out of nails at the black smith and wax candles at the fire pit. The activities did not cost extra which was awesome. They treat the property like an interactive museum where you can touch, open, and explore everything. We learned a lot about the Ethridges and received a great tour of the farm house showing us details and the meaning behind them that we otherwise may have overlooked.
